At the cornerstone of our program is the hands-on experience our students receive from the moment they arrive. Students are able to participate in a range of experiences, from reporting to editing to designing, in on and off-line environments.

Delirium:
Delirium: An Interdisciplinary Journal, is the department's newest publication. It is "an exciting new online literary magazine (e-zine) and discussion site. It features top quality literature from contributers around the world in seven different categories." Dr. Beau Pitts advises the Delirium staff.

The Northern Review:
The Northern Review is Ohio Northern University's student-run newspaper. Dr. Bill O'Connell advises the Northern Review staff.

Shakespeare and the Classroom:
Shakespeare and the Classroom is a publication jointly sponsored by The Shakespeare International Globe Centre (USA) and Ohio Northern University. Dr. Eva McManus co-edits this publication.

Polaris:
Polaris: Journal of Literature and the Arts is Ohio Northern University's student-edited literary journal. Prof. Robert Lietz advises the Polaris staff.

Characters:
Characters is the English Department Newsletter. Characters is written, edited, and published by students in the English Department. It appears annually each Spring. Dr. Margaret Case advises this publication.
